• Homework is assigned daily. It includes:

A daily 15-20 minute reading experience. Your child may read independently, or it may be a shared experience. You (or someone else) may read to or with your child, and/or your child may read to or with you (or someone else). Reading is an interaction with print or literature. Children may read chapter books, picture books, magazines, etc. The ultimate goal of the daily reading experience is to develop or enhance a lifelong love of reading.

A daily 5-10 minute math experience. Math is everywhere. Point it out. Talk about it. Engage with it. Count, measure, compare, compute, estimate, think, reason... just be, and math will follow.

A weekly math practice sheet. This is due on Friday (or the last day of the school week).

Review or practice for spelling tests.

A daily play experience- be active if you can.

A daily family experience- find time to be together.

    Other tasks as assigned.
