A Four-Pronged Approach
Methacton School District seeks to ensure the STEM vision and the Strategic Planning objective are met using a four-pronged approach:
- Focus on teaching and learning across all levels, subjects, and disciplines that leverage the 4C’s—collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity.
- Encourage teacher STEM certification endorsement at all levels.
- Engage teachers in Educator in the Workplace opportunities to inform and provide the application of knowledge and skill.
- Develop STEM-related programming and activities that support the progression of knowledge, skill, and engagement of students at all levels of the district.
