About Me

My name is Joyce Amici and I am Worcester's Instructional Intervention Specialist (IIS).  I also teach Tier 2 students during Team Time.                                                                                                   

I graduated from Millersville University in 2000 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I graduated in 2004 with a Master’s of Education in Reading.  I am also a certified Reading Specialist and have my principal certificate as well.  I have spent the last two years working at the district level as an ELA Curriculum Support Specialist, but I am happy to be a "Worcester Wolf" again!

I have taught T-1, first grade, second grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, and learning support.  As you can see, I have experience in most grade levels.  I honestly love each grade, so I am very lucky to see students of all ages at school!  :)  Please do not hesitate to reach out to me about your child's ELA curriculum, or about Tier 2 Reading Support.
