  • Summer Music Community Service: Band Application

    Community Service in Summer Music BAND

    High School students (must have completed 9th grade) may earn community service credit through participation in Concert Band and/or Jazz Band.  Students who wish to do Community service hours are to contact Mrs. Bugosh at TBugosh@methacton.org  for an application.  Applications will be accepted by Mrs. Bugosh until May 30, 2011.

     

    The summer music community service application forms are posted on the Methacton High School Webpage: Summer Music Community Service link. To apply earned hours for credit through the MHS community service, visit the MHS community service page, and follow the posted procedures.

     

    The summer music program is a wonderful opportunity for a MHS graduation project topic that fulfills either career exploration or community service goals . Students wishing to use 2 or more summers of music experience toward fulfillment of their required graduation project should review the MHS graduation project handbook for guidelines, speak to their graduation project advisor, and submit a proposal request.
