It is truly an honor and pleasure to be the Principal at Arcola Intermediate School! It is my privilege to work with such a talented staff, all of whom are dedicated to providing the highest quality of education in a safe and supportive environment. This is such an important and critical time of transition - moving from elementary and preparing for the bigger challenge of high school. What happens in these next two years will have a lasting impression on our children’s development and growth. Please join me in this journey as we work together to help shape the lives of our children academically, socially and emotionally.
This year our district theme will focus on the phrase, Be The One...to Encourage, Inspire and Empower. Our goal is to build on the power of relationships with students, staff, and parents so that we can create rich environments that allow for engagement, high-quality instruction, and growth. Every student, every day, every way is our motto!
This will be my 25th year in education and I have served in three school districts. My academic background includes a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Gwynedd Mercy University; a Bachelor of Arts in English from Providence College; and Pennsylvania certification in the areas of K-12 Counseling, Elementary Principal, K-12 Guidance Supervision and a Superintendent Letter of Eligibility. In addition, I serve as an adjunct faculty instructor at Gwynedd Mercy and Neumann University.
