    Hi!  I'm Vivian McIntyre.  All my students call me Mrs. Mac.  I am dual certified in special education as well as regular education. I have my Level I and Level II Certifications in the Wilson Reading Program.  In 2013 I interned as a trainer and successfully trained five teachers in the Wilson Reading Program in Methacton. I am now the Wilson In-District Trainer for Methacton!

    Your child will  receive spelling homework from me each week.  The assignments are as follows:
     
    Second and Third Grades:

    Monday:  3x each
    Tuesday:  Mark up five words from your list.  Write each word and mark up.  Do not mark up your sight words! 
    Wednesday:  ABC order
    Thursday:  Worksheet
    Friday:  test day

    As your child progresses through the Wilson Reading System, he or she might receive occasional reading comprehension assignments.

    Hobbies:
     
    My family is my biggest hobby!  I've been married to Raymond for 35 years.  We have two fantastic children:  Chelsea who is now 33 and Kyle who is 32.  Chelsea graduated from University of Pennsylvania's Vet School in May 2013 and is now practicing in Baltimore, MD.  Kyle graduated from Arcadia University in January 2012 as a Doctor of Physical Therapy and is now practicing in Annapolis, MD. He just recently received his credentials in Certified Physical Manual Therapy. We are very excited that Kyle is now engaged to Kaitlyn and they will be married on October 5th in Annapolis! We have three pets:  one dog and twoe cats.  I am an avid reader and really enjoy reading historical fiction.  I also love to cook and enjoy entertaining our friends.
