Mrs. Cassandra Carter
Greetings Parents/Guardians!
My name is Mrs Cassandra Carter and I am so PROUD to be part of Woodland Elementary School family again this year! I am looking forward to working with you and your child this school year. It’s going to be an exciting year full of learning and new adventures. I look forward to learning about your child and seeing them grow in the months ahead. Below is a little information about me.
I was born and raised in Oaks, PA, and have one older brother. During this time, I graduated from Spring-Ford High School with hopes and dreams to become a teacher. I went on to attend and then graduate from Slippery Rock University with a duel degree in Elementary and Special Education. After this time, I moved to New Mexico, where I taught in a learning support classroom for 5 years. I moved back to PA about five years ago, in which I then obtained my Master’s degree in Elementary Education.
I began my adventure by substituting in the Methacton School District for a year and a half where I have held positions in 3rd/4th grade Learning Support, 3-4 Autistic Support, and have taught ESY (Extended School Year) this previous summer. I love getting to watch my students grow and succeed throughout the year. I enjoy watching their characters develop and building relationships with each student and their families!
I live with my husband and son (who just turned 2) in Limerick.
I am beyond excited to meet and work with your family and for your child to be part of this TREMENDOUS school year in room 301! This is going to be a great year!
A few of my favorite things are:
Color: Pink Drink: Starbucks... coffee
Season: Winter Sport: Football
Animal: Pig Movie: Moana
Musical Artist: Adele
Book: Skippy Jon Jones
If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to meeting you!
