Behavior Expectations:
Audubon Elementary school utilizes a school wide behavior clip chart in all classes including specials. Each day your child will come home with a calendar colored in indicating what level on the chart they ended up on. The colors are as follows:
Pink - Super Student
Purple - Great job
Blue - Good Choices
Green - Ready to learn
Yellow - Think About It
Orange - Teacher Choice
Red - Parent Contact
In 1T I will also be using a behavior system called Brag Tags. A brag tag is given to a student who is demonstrating our 3 goals of Audubon to be safe, responsible and respectful along with other awesome behaviors such as earning a 100% their sight word tests, keeping a clean desk, various holidays an many. many more! When a student earns a Brag Tag, they will put them onto a necklace that will be kept in the room. The goal is for the students to fill up their necklace by the end of the year!
Birthdays
We love to celebrate birthdays in 1T! Feel free to bring in a snack or small treat for the kids. You can drop them off in the main office at the start of school. Please make sure that you have one for each student. As of 9/6 we have 21 students.
