Principal's Farewell Message
Posted by Jason Sorgini on 6/9/2017 3:00:00 PMDear Worcester Family,
As my time as Principal of Worcester Elementary draws to a close, I would like to take the opportunity to express my deep and profound gratitude for everyone who made my time at our school one of abiding joy. Life is a series of meetings and partings and I firmly believe that it is incumbent upon every one of us to leave each place we visit in some way better than the way in which we found it at our arrival. That presented some difficulties for me given the exceptionally wonderful condition in which I found our school several years ago when I became principal here. I was left to contemplate meaningful and practical ways in which to make an already extraordinary place just a little bit better. Four years later, it is my fervent hope that I have found at least some small ways in which to leave our school better than I found it and that my legacy will be one of caring, thoughtfulness, compassion and integrity. It is never easy to leave a place that you have come to consider home and, therefore, I find it bittersweet to bid you all a fond and heartfelt farewell. I am honored and proud to be part of this Worcester Family. I wish all of you the very best of health and happiness in the years to come and I look forward to being together again with our students when they enter Methacton High School in the not so distant future.
Worcester Elementary School is a special place. Its students, teachers and families come together to make it more than just a school. It truly is a second home for all of us who have had the good fortune to spend our time here. Thank you all for allowing me to be a member of your family and accepting me into your lives. I am confident that our Worcester students will continue to lead the pack for many, many years to come.
Sincerely,
Jason Sorgini

If you are moving to Skyview and you have no younger siblings at Worcester, please turn in your Green Recycling Bag by Friday, June 9th to the yellow trash can in the atrium.
