      As the summer comes to an end, we look forward to arriving in September as fourth graders.  We would like to share information about some of the supplies you will need.  Hopefully, this will make your "Back to School Shopping" easier.

 

      In fourth grade we use color-coded folders as an organizational resource.  This means that you will not need a binder.  They are bulky and do not fit your desk very well.

 

      To keep supplies safe and allow you to carry them from class to class, you will need a pencil case.  We ask that it be soft with a zipper.  In it, you should have several extra sharpened pencils.  You will also store your highlighter, scissors, glue sticks, and ear buds.  These school supplies can be found at area dollar stores.

 

      To help be prepared for class, we are asking that you bring in four dry-erase makers and a sock to be used as an eraser for the whiteboard.

 

      With many colds and allergies occurring throughout the year, we are asking each student to bring in a box of tissues so that there is an ample supply for all.

 

      We know that you read daily and maintained a reading log in third grade.  We love to read in fourth grade as well.  Please checkout the Methacton Student Wiki for reading activities.
