Welcome to the music room at Eagleville Elementary School!

My name is Ms. Coghlan and this is my fourth year teaching in the Methacton School District. I am so excited to start making music with everyone! I am a graduate from West Chester University (WCU) earning my degree in Music and Elementary Education. While at WCU, I enjoyed playing flute and singing in choirs. During my free time I enjoy singing, running, playing with my dog, seeing the Philadelphia Orchestra, and watching Disney movies. I'm very excited to work with the talented and hard working students at Eagleville Elementary School in the Methacton School District.

Check out our classroom rules listed below:

During music class we will be playing many instruments and learning how to read musical solfa and rhythms. Some of the instruments we will be practicing in the music room include drums such as djembes, hand drums, and tubanos. We will be creating our own music on xylophones, glockenspiels and metallophones. In third and fourth grade we start recorders! Let's make it a great year :-)
