    This course is designed as an elective for 11th and 12th grade students who wish to pursue a more in depth understanding of fundamentals learned in Earth Science. The course will include Marine Biology, Marine Geology, coastal changes, and Physical and Environmental Oceanography. Man's interaction with the oceans will be discussed.

    This course is intended for the student that has a real interest in man's role in his environment. Included will be cause and effect relationships with plants and animals, man's part in conservation, problems dealing in energy conservation and pollution. Topics covered will include wildlife, natural resources, energy, and pollution. Laboratory work will be an integral part of the course.
