Classroom Experience:

At the beginning of my teaching career, I was a teaching assistant in a special education classroom, then moved on to a long-term substutute position as a third grade teacher then a transitional first grade teacher.  I taught first grade at Woodland, Eagleville, then Audubon School. At Audubon School, I taught both first grade and then third grade.  I also began the Audubon School's environmental club and environmental center.  I am looking forward to bringing my talents to Woodland School again.

I love both science and technology.  I enjoy using both iPads and chromebooks in my classroom daily.  We will be using technology a lot in my classroom.  I just recently earned my PA STEM Endorsement and plan to try to integrate as much STEM as I can.

Personal:

I have lived in the Methacton community all of my life.  I am a former Methacton Graduate.  (I am not telling the year. Let's just say it was long ago.) I am married and have one child.  My son, Teddy, is a fourth grader at Woodland.  I am looking forward to seeing his fourth grade activities up-close since we will be in the same building this year.  The Art Hallway at Woodland is named after him this year.

I love gardening and swimming.  I am a science geek, so all things science is exciting to me.  I even like playing video games.  My favorite games are Minecraft and Splatoon, but you can catch my son and I Pokemon Go hunting sometimes too.  This summer, we did some Pokemon Go hunting on the Wildwood Boardwalk, which was a lot of fun.
