•          Linda, known as Dr. Meyers to her students, has begun her second year at Skyview and looks forward to teaching English to the sixth-grade Astronomers Team.  She had been at Arrowhead, taught second grade for ten years, and then became the Instructional Support Specialist.  Her title changed to Instructional Intervention Specialist and she became the tier two instructor for Response to Instruction and Intervention (RtII) teaching students K to 4 and monitoring academic data for the building.

     

            Linda has her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from East Stroudsburg University and a Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Penn State University.  In 2018, she successfully defended her dissertation and earned a doctorate in educational leadership from Immaculata University.  During the 2017-2018 school year, Linda was on professional leave to intern for the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment to attain a supervisor's certificate while writing her dissertation on using RtII to determine Specific Learning Disability.  Linda considers herself a lifelong learner and her favorite quote is from Confucius, "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."

     

            Linda resides in Wayne with her husband Kurt and has two sons.  Greg is enjoying his youthful adulthood by working in crafting and selling functional pottery while teaching art classes.  He currently is the Executor Director of Teton Arts Council in Driggs, Idaho working to reach youth and adults to bring art and creativity into their lives while beautifying the community.   Steve has earned his second master’s degree in Materials Science Engineering, Renewable Energy, concentrating in solar technology from Masdar Institute of Science and Technology in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.  He worked in Saudi Arabia for Aramco Oil developing solar energy towers!   Steve then attended Kassel University in Germany defending his dissertation and earning a Ph.D. in Solar Thermal Engineering.  He is currently working in New York City and helping companies to become more energy efficient to protect our planet for future generations.
