• Student Expectations

A positive learning experience can only happen in a positive environment. To ensure that our classrooms are this type of constructive and encouraging classroom, we have the following expectations of all who enter:

    • Respect the feelings and property of everyone-students, faculty and YOURSELF!
    • Bring all required materials/assignments to class daily.
    • Follow all school rules as stated in the handbook.
    • Take responsibility for your choices and actions.
    • Work hard and do your best.

Students who choose to disregard these expectations may experience the following:
    • reminders of the expectations and an opportunity to correct their behavior
    • the opportunity to think about and analyze their choices (verbally and/or reflection log)
    • messages to parents
    • referral to the Principal or the Assistant Principal

If we remain aware of these expectations and demonstrate them, we will experience the benefits of a positive and productive classroom. This is a team effort, as well as an individual effort.
