Hello, I am Mrs. Laffey. This is my fourteenth year teaching at Methacton. Before coming here, I was teaching fourth grade at St. Teresa of Avila, and 6-8th grade at Kennett Middle School, and my very first year, I taught 3rd grade all the way in Las Vegas, NV.
When I'm not at Skyview, I live in Collegeville with my husband and three children. We spend most our summer at the beach and watching my son's baseball games. I love hanging out with my kids, reading, DIY projects, online shopping, and writing in my journal. I also very much like to travel and will go anywhere at just about anytime with my friends or family.
Fifth grade is so much fun! I can't wait to provide a year full of learning experiences that you will carry with you on your journey as a lifelong learner. Your first year at Skyview will be loaded with exciting activities and trips that are special to this grade...especially OUTDOOR ED! I am so excited about this year and know it's going to be absolutely fantastic!
