    Hobbies
My favorite thing to do is spend time with my daughters, Arianna (7) and Danica (4).  My wife, Kristina, and I have been married since 2008. I love running,  kayaking, swimming and water polo. During my downtime, I enjoy spending as much time as possible at the beach and grilling. I love reading about history and have a special interest in 20th century U.S. and European history.  Although it is a challenging, exhausting and ever-changing profession, I thoroughly enjoy teaching and find it to be very rewarding.  I hope students enjoy history, but I also hope they improve writing skills, study habits, public speaking, critical thinking and learn how to work collaboratively with all their peers.  My ultimate goal for students is to see them advocate for themselves in the classroom.
