Hello! My name is Devan Thomas and I am so EXCITED to be part of Worcester Elementary School’s family! More importantly, I am THRILLED to be your child’s learning support teacher! It’s going to be a fun year full of learning and new adventures, and I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us! I would like to know ALL about you, and your child, but first I’m going to tell you a few things about myself!

       I was born and raised in Audubon, PA, and have an older brother and two step-siblings. I am also a Methacton graduate, and so honored to be back teaching in the district that I have grown up in and loved! After highschool, I graduated from Shippensburg University with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education. I also earned my Masters of Education at Cabrini College, with a special education certification.

       The 2019-2020 school year will be my  fifth year at Worcester Elementary. I love getting to watch my students grow and succeed throughout the year. I enjoy watching their personalities develop, and building relationships with each student and their families!

       I currently live in Phoenixville, PA.  I live with my nine year old dog named Utley. GO PHILLIES!!

       I am beyond excited to meet your family, and for your child to be part of this AWESOME pack of leaders we have lined up in room 212! This is going to be a FANTASTIC year.
