Welcome to Seventh Grade Science!! I hope you are ready to work hard and learn lots of interesting information about the environment and yourself through our study of cells and genetics.

I started my teaching career at Greencastle-Antrim in 1996. I taught there for four years, moved back home to teach in Lower Merion for a year and then joined the wonderful staff at Arcola in 2001. I am excited to be a part of the BLUE TEAM! I live in King of Prussia with my family, which includes my two sons, Sean and Jake and our various pets. I grew up in King of Prussia and went through Upper Merion School District. I graduated from Shippensburg University with a bachelor's degree in Biology, minor in Secondary Education.

My philosophy of teaching is that students will get out as much as they put in and the students will be more willing to put forth more effort in an environment that is respectful and "kid friendly". I have high expectations for each student and my goal is to help each individual achieve the standards I set through hard work and variation in my teaching. We will attack each new topic in many ways in an effort to accommodate many learning styles. I hope you leave my class more excited about learning than when you first came in.

    Join me for the ride!!
