Prerequisite: 70% or better in Ceramic Art I
Students enrolled in Ceramic Art II will advance their knowledge level in the history of clay, pottery-making skill, and the elements and principles of design. Emphasis is placed on functionality of artwork, creativity, and aesthetics. The requirements for this course include the completion of four core studio projects, further practice on the potter's wheel, and a $15 lab fee for materials, collected after the first week of class. It is recommended that the advanced Ceramic Art II student progress to Ceramic Art III.
