      I am very excited to be  returning as a French teacher for my tenth year to Methacton High School, after having spent 15 years teaching French at Arcola. Prior to teaching in the Methacton School District I taught French for one year in the Souderton School District. Before entering the teaching profession, I worked in sales and marketing, and I caught the teaching "bug" after I began training sales representatives.

     I received my BA in French from Chestnut Hill College, my K-12 Education Certification in French from Ursinus College, and my MA in Education from Gratz College. I worked as an au pair, or "nounou" (nanny), for a Parisian family in their summer home in Auvergne, France during my summer vacations while in college. My experience was so wonderful and so valuable that I returned the favor, and offered the like experience to French students who wished to help me during the summer months when my two children were young. 

     I love planning trips to France with my students here at Methacton. As well, my husband Chip and I enjoy traveling every so often to visit friends in France, when we opt not to see some of the beautiful sites here in the states.
