Constantly changing/evolving technology is influencing careers in all fields. To best prepare our students for these new and exciting opportunities, Methacton offers a mathematics program with a variety of courses combining traditional theory with practical application. The MHS Mathematics department seeks to foster a rigorous educational environment that creates problem solvers and lifelong learners.
Because of the sequential development of the mathematics curriculum, students should attain the appropriate pre-requisite grade in a previous course before advancing to a more difficult level. Students who have not demonstrated a level of mastery are encouraged to repeat or remediate courses in order to master concepts required for sequential classes.
