Mr. Murgia is married and has one son.  His son is a freshman at Pitt University.  He resides within the Methacton School District. This school year is his 24th year with Methacton.  Over that time, he has taught 5th grade, 6th grade and 7th grade, as well as, 1 1/2 years of Assistant Principal at Arcola Intermediate School.  He has also coached for 12 years for various sports teams including:  H.S. Boys Tennis, 7th/8th grade Girls Tennis , 7th grade Girls Basketball and 7th/8th grade Football and 7th grade Baseball.  Mr. Murgia is a huge Philadelphia Sports Team supporter.  He especially loves the Eagles and the Phillies!

 

Education:

Graduated from Pottsgrove High School.  Participated and lettered in Football, Basketball and Tennis.  Was member of Student Government.
