The Methacton High School Athletic Fields Improvement Project $2 Million Capital Campaign
For so many of our Methacton School District students and community athletic program youth, safe and playable athletic fields are fundamental to the overall development of our community and our pride. The Methacton High School athletic field’s improvement project is positioned to strengthen the bond between our community and our school district. Our belief is that the project will not only provide a quality campus field environment, but improve the image of our school and community to a level commensurate with our strong tradition of educational excellence. Our students, families, community organizations, and business partners have recognized the urgent need to address our athletic facilities to establish an image representative of our community expectations and values. Together, we expect to combine charitable contributions and public financing to address the needs of our children today and for the next 30 plus years. This $5.5 million project is seeking to raise $2 million in charitable contributions. We are aware that worthy causes compete for charitable contributions, but strongly believe that with your support we can realize a better future for thousands of students and youth in our community.
An effort that began in November 2014, has so far raised more than $1.7 million dollars! The second phase of this fundraising campaign will include OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL! This includes many opportunities for fundraisers led by our school and community sports teams and other supporting groups, alumni events, as well as an online donation portal.Provided by CoolFundraisingIdeas.net
