• Project Update - February 17, 2016
     
    Dear Methacton Community,
     
    It is with enormous pride and excitement that I write this historic fields project update. Members of the Methacton community – WE HAVE LIGHTS! Lights (pictured below) were erected on the high school’s auxiliary field on Tuesday, February 16, 2016.

    Construction of the bases continues on the stadium field, preparing for the installation and raising of the light standards in the coming weeks.

    Lights on our high school fields will enable us to make full use of the synthetic turf fields, in addition to creating an environment that will bring our outdoor facilities up to an acceptable standard. It will allow us to welcome all to evening athletic events and other activities that we hope will spread the spirit of Methacton Pride throughout this amazing community.

    It’s more than 20 years in the making – we look forward to turning on the lights in the very near future.
