• ARCOLA CONNECTION

    The Arcola Connection, a "Peers Helping Peers" program, consists of approximately 20 seventh and eighth grade students.

    Throughout the school year students focus on team building, leadership, listening, decision making, and confidence building skills. Arcola Connection Members serve as ambassadors to various groups within the Arcola Community, the district community and individuals in the greater Montgomery County area. 
     
    In the Fall, members plan, facilitate and host a new student social.
     
    Throughout the school year, members plan various service projects, such as a new student social, the "Annual Giving Tree", concessions at Basket Bingo, and "Hershey Kisses for the Cure".   Students also work with their Arcola Peers to provide tutoring and mentoring support to other students. At the end of the year, members provide tours of Arcola to the incoming 7th Grade students from Skyview.
