Volunteer TB Testing
PLEASE NOTE: TB TESTING THROUGH THE DISTRICT'S NURSE'S OFFICES WILL END IN MAY AND RESUME IN SEPTEMBER. PLEASE CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR SPECIFIC DATES. TB TESTING IS SUSPENDED DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS.
In order to become an approved volunteer, you must complete a TB test. TB testing appointments are available September through May at the high school nurse's office. Nurses are not on the premises during the summer months.
Please email Cheryl Peiffer at
cpeiffer@methacton.org to schedule your daytime appointment.
Tests will be administered between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. You must return two days later to have the test read. Tests can be read by the high school nurse or you can make arrangements with your child's school nurse to have the test read.
Be sure to have the nurse complete the TB test form and take it with you when you leave. If your test is not read two days after test administration, the test WILL BE VOID. Please make a copy of your TB test results and keep it in a safe place. If you should lose your original, we will not be able to make a copy for you.
NO EVENING TESTING IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.
