In 2020-2021, our district will be moving to a standards-based grading system for students in grades K-4. This system will help us more accurately measure students’ mastery of PA Core Academic Standards in all subjects. The elementary report cards are being revised to reflect the changes to the state standards and Methacton’s curricula. The goal of this approach to reporting is to provide parents, students, and teachers with a detailed picture of what students know and are able to demonstrate. The information provided on the report card encourages dialogue about areas of strength and need, and how our students can continue to grow academically.
