• How to write an Abstract

     

     The abstract must be 250 words or less, typed double spaced, 12 font Times Roman.

     

    The abstract is an overview written in paragraph form of your science fair project.  It should summerize the main points of your experiment.   

     

    Include the following:

    ·       The purpose

    ·       The hypothesis

    ·       Description of the variables, constants, and controls

    ·       A very brief description of the procedure –

                                       how the independent variable was measured

    ·       The simple conclusion - supported or not supported your hypothesis.

           .   The data and results 

    ·       Things that should be changed if done again (if you have words left)
