• As a School Counselor at Methacton High School, I work with students in grades 9-12 whose last names begin with the letters Lo-Pa.  My role is to assist students and parents throughout the high school experience with focus in the areas of academic, personal and career development.

I have worked as a School Counselor at Methacton H.S. for over 20 years.   Previously, I worked in the drug and alcohol treatment field at Eagleville Hospital.  I am originally from Hazleton, PA.   I have an A.S. degree from Luzerne County Community College,  a B.S. degree from York College of Pennsylvania and a M.Ed. degree in Secondary Counseling from West Chester University. In my free time I enjoy working out and I officiate both high school football and basketball.  My four children are all through college so I have plenty of practical experience in the college planning process.

My office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.   I enjoy working with and helping both students and parents. Students can schedule an appointment with me through the Counseling Secretaries, Mrs. Lorraine O'Donnell,  Ms. Karen O'Neil.  Parents can call me at 610-489-5000 x25028 or email me at (DRuminski @ methacton.org)   I look forward to hearing from you or seeing you in my office in the West Wing of MHS.
