• MHS Field Improvement Project - Lighting Ordinance Approved
    The Worcester Township Board of Supervisors approved the Methacton School District Light Ordinance, which allows for the installation of athletic field lighting at the high school campus on Kriebel Mill Road.

    During the December 19, 2012 Worcester Township Board of Supervisors meeting, the supervisors approved the advertisement of a Methacton School District Light Ordinance. A public hearing scheduled for January was continued until February, and the revised ordinance was approved at the April Board of Supervisors meeting.
    A revised conditional use agreement was also drafted for review by the Board of School Directors. This document was drafted jointly by the administration and John Harris, a representative of the neighbors who live adjacent to the high school's athletic fields. This document reflects changes to the usage agreement previously presented to the Board in October.
