Methacton School District

Dear Methacton Community,

I am very pleased to report that, yesterday morning, in the court of common pleas, before the honorable Judge Thomas M. DelRicci, that the settlement agreement concerning sports field lighting on the Methacton High School Campus reached by the parties of the school district, the neighbors, and Worcester township was approved

This court order herby ends decades of interest in this matter and ends the litigation associated.

Accordingly, last evening, the Board of School Directors approved the administration to purchase and proceed forward with the installation of lights on these fields.

On behalf of the Board and the Administration, I would like to thank everyone that has supported this effort over the years. We'd especially like to thank those that have given time and treasure to the Warrior Pride Capital Campaign, as well as Frank Bartle and Eric Frey of Dischell, Bartle, & Dooley for their hard work on this.

We look forward to the first game under the lights!
